Mahoney State Park

While my parents were in town for McKinley's birthday party, we decided to make a fun weekend of their visit and head out and stay in a cabin at Mahoney State Park. It was a really neat place to stay! We had a nice cabin and there was tons of stuff to do at the park! We rented a paddle boat and took turns paddling around the lake.

There were also plenty of outdoor play grounds and an indoor playground that McKinley loved playing at!

There was an Air and Space Museum close to the park that we visited. McKinley loved riding on all the coin-operated airplanes, and my Dad loved walking around and seeing all the real-life airplanes.

We also just enjoyed spending time at the cabin with my Mom and Dad. McKinley loved having them around and had a great time playing around in a new place with all of her new toys from her birthday party that we brought with us! In the cabin, there were some cabinets right at McKinley's level that McKinley enjoyed hiding inside. It was pretty funny! We were so glad my parents were able to stay a little bit after McKinley's birthday to spend a little more time with us over Labor Day weekend. We headed back to Lincoln on Monday night, and went out to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate my 27th birthday a day early. My parents had to head home on Tuesday morning. We loved having them here and look forward to their next visit!
